Bob Crow the RMT’s general secretary has called off further industrial
action after the promise of mediation next year over the pay dispute.
Celebrating the promise from Ken Livingstone, who will run the Tube from
next year, Crow called the HR team at London Underground a "walking
disaster".
"HR is not doing its job and it is obvious that the management is on
its way out," he said. "They have been abysmal and provocative it
took the intervention of the future employer to sort it out."

London Underground HR director Bob Mason responded: "The issue remains
unresolved and batted into next year. The 3 per cent award is a fair one – it
won the support of most of our staff.
"We have to pay our staff a fair wage with the limited money
available," he added.
