The
European Commission is calling for UK companies to take part in its Executive
Training Programme.
The
latest scheme, which is open to all companies wanting to improve their
operations in the Far East, takes place in 2003 in Japan and Korea.
More
than 800 executives have already been through the Japanese course, and seen
considerable personal and companies rewards, says commission spokeswoman
Michele Bayliss.
The
12-month intensive programme includes a six-month secondment to a Japanese
company of the firm’s choice.
For
successful applicants the commission will pay all costs for the programme,
except travel, and will provide a basic living allowance.
Companies
interested in taking part should apply via the website below or contact John
Patrick on 01483 575772, or e-mail him at [email protected]
The
deadline for expressions of interest is mid-August.
