Edgecumbe Health partner with Bowland Solutions

As the leading UK based HR consultancy working within the NHS, Edgecumbe Health have selected Bowland Solutions to support their on-line ‘Doctor 360’ multi-source feedback systems for GP and consultant appraisal.

Following an updated report from the Chief Medical Officer on ‘Revalidation’, NHS Trusts are required to implement appropriate appraisal processes and practices; this should include 360 degree feedback for doctors which requests feedback from seniors, peers, support colleagues and patients.

The ‘Doctor 360’ system enables Edgecumbe Health to set-up 360 degree appraisal processes for multiple NHS Trusts, who can then self-administer the feedback process for their own consultants.

As well as providing clear and easy-to-understand individual reports for the consultants, the system offers a high level of automation to remove the burden on doctors and a benchmarking report that gives normative information on performance.
