Victim
Support has launched a new service to help employers deal with the impact of
violent crime in the workplace.
The
organisation now offers consultancy and training to organisations to ensure
staff receive support after a crime.
Victim
Support said many employers do not have systems to help staff after an incident
despite incidents of violence at work increasing.
Last
year 1.3m violent incidents were recorded in the UK.
Victim
Support said violence at work makes staff anxious and leads to high absence
rates and staff turnover, and reduced profits.
