Finance courses take to cyberspace

The City-based training organisation, the Center for Interactive Financial
Training (CIFT), is making its training programmes available online to
individuals and corporate clients from its website.

CIFT provides face-to-face financial training programmes to organisations
such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and ABN Amro, and has accumulated more
than 250 hours of online training covering the full range of financial topics
from fund management and capital valuation to risk management, regulation and
compliance (including money laundering) and finance for non-finance managers.
The training can be taken solely online or as part of a blended programme. An
online pre-course can be followed by a face-to-face meeting with the trainer
before the remainder of the training is carried out online. Online discussion
forums and chat rooms allow learners to discuss related issues with other
learners.
