We have had a positive response to our call to HR professionals to sign up to our tax breaks for carers campaign. But to apply more pressure on the government to act, we need even more of you to support it.
A new survey shows that carers who have to juggle work with caring often get stuck in low-paid, low-grade jobs, and they’re more likely to phone in sick than other staff.
Many carers are in the prime of their working lives, but are unable to make the most of their skills or potential because of their caring responsibilities – meaning employers are missing out.
