A new strategy to keep the UK motor sport industry ahead of the pack is
being launched by the Government. The £5bn a year sector employs 40,000 people
in the UK. Trade and Industry Secretary Patricia Hewitt said she hopes the
industry can be developed and help other manufacturers learn from its success.
The new strategy will involve a partnership between the motor sport industry
and Government in a bid to boost innovation and productivity
