One in three graduates will struggle to get a job that justifies the effort
of doing a degree, claims research released last week.

The report by the National Institute of Economic and Social Research claims
many graduates will have to take jobs that see them initially under-employed
and over-qualified. It analysed the retailing, computer services, transport and
communication industries.
Author Geoff Mason said, "There are many jobs in service industries
which may be better suited to people with a background of on-the-job
training."
