Department
store group House of Fraser has frozen its final salary pension scheme for new
employees, according to the Daily Mail.
The
paper said the freeze is only temporary – the scheme is being reviewed while
the company decides whether it can afford to keep it.

group’s pre-tax profits rose from £17.9m to £22.8m last year. Dividends were
held at 5.5p.
