Staff
at the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman’s office are holding a
one-day strike over pay.
The
watchdog staff, based at Milbank Tower, Cardiff and Edinburgh, are holding a
one-day strike in an on-going dispute over pay.
Members
of the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) are unhappy that a pay offer
is being imposed and had previously held industrial action in January and
February.
The
new pay offer was rejected by staff as they felt it did not guarantee that top
performers could reach the peak of their pay scales in a reasonable time.
