Recruitment is the most time-consuming activity dealt with by HR.
An IRS survey of 85 HR department shows this takes up 48 per cent of time
followed by training and development (32 per cent) and pay and reward (24 per
cent).
Training and development is ranked as the most important activity they
undertake (32 per cent) followed by pay and reward (26 per cent) and
