HR people moves: Axa, Victim Support, Positive Outcomes

by Helen Gilbert 12 Aug 2010
by Helen Gilbert 12 Aug 2010

AXA UK has appointed Karan Hutchinson as group HR director.

She joined the financial insurance firm in 2004 and held a number of senior HR roles before becoming AXA UK’s HR business director where she was responsible for leading the HR business and resourcing teams across the individual operating companies.

Victim Support has a new head of HR at the helm in the name of Joe Healy. He has more than 25 years’ experience in HR and learning and development, and will draw on his experience gained in a variety of roles in the pharmaceutical, travel, education and financial services sectors. He said: “I am delighted to be invited to join an organisation that supports people through difficult times.”

Cheryl Peto has stepped into a newly created HR and support services manager role at Positive Outcomes, a national recruitment and training organisation. She will deliver direct support to the £4.5 million turnover business, which employs more than 100 staff. Cheryl was formerly HR manager at Nottingham law firm Berryman for eight years.
