Hidden Cost of Recruitment produced by Benchmark Research, finds that 55 per
cent of HR managers surveyed are finding it difficult to recruit suitable staff
for permanent positions.
More
than 70 per cent of HR managers believe that this has led to the recruitment of
inferior staff and a subsequent drop in business performance.
One
in six believe it has had a significant effect on the bottom line.

research reveals that 65 per cent of HR managers find it difficult to find
staff with the proper technical knowledge. Other difficulties include
recruiting within a competitive market and pressure to achieve cost reductions
