Salaries
for HR staff in the engineering sector have grown modestly in the past 12
months, according to the latest figures from the manufacturing and engineering
organisation EEF.
The
EEF’s pay survey shows that HR managers earnings grew by around 2.7 per cent
between 2002 and 2003.
The
highest pay growth in the engineering sector was for IT staff, with heads of IT
enjoying a 6 per cent rise.
The
difficulty of recruiting skilled engineers was reflected by a 5.3 per cent pay
rise.
