HR uncovered as survey delves into the nation’s personnel departments

City law firm Speechly Bircham has teamed up with King’s College London to conduct a survey to find out ‘the state of HR’ in the UK.

Among other things, the research aims to uncover:

• How HR departments are coping with the current economic downturn?


• What are the major implications for employers?


• What issues does JR you expect to be dealing with over the next year?


• What is happening to the HR function, and is its role and importance within organisations changing?

The results aim to provide a useful insight into the profession in the current economic downturn. Respondents to the survey will receive a summary report of the findings when published in the New Year.
