Professional services firm KPMG has reshuffled its HR team following the decision to merge its UK, German and Swiss practices.
Speaking exclusively to Personnel Today, UK HR director Dave Conder said the executive team within the new function included a mix of UK, German and Swiss HR professionals, who will report to Rachel Campbell, European head of people.
The company is also increasing staff numbers in certain specialisms, primarily outside the UK.

“Within Germany we wanted to build up our reward and diversity proposition,” Conder said. “We are recruiting a head of reward for Europe in Germany, and we have already recruited a diversity professional into that operation.”
The combined firm has more than 20,000 partners and staff, with revenues approaching £3bn, making it the largest accountancy firm in Europe. Its Swiss firm is to join the merger this year.
