Stress awareness day
Employers are being urged to offer staff advice on stress on
Wednesday 5 November – National Stress Awareness Day. Organised for the sixth year running by the
International Stress Management Association, the theme this year is ‘We can all
do something about stress’.Â

Downsizing plans
More than two-thirds of workers under the age of 35 are
considering downsizing their job to achieve better work-life balance. A study
by Prudential also found that nearly 1 million people aged between 35 and 54

Commendation for PT
PersonnelToday.com was singled out for special commendation at
last week’s Association of Online Publishers (AOP) awards. The site was
shortlisted in the integration of media category, with a special mention by the
judges. This is the second honour for the site in 2003. Earlier this year, it
was highly commended at the Periodical Publishers Association awards.
