Incentive travel enquiries up 23 per cent at P&MM

by Personnel Today 27 Jan 2011
by Personnel Today 27 Jan 2011

The Events & Communications division of P&MM, specialising in incentive travel, corporate events and product launches, has reported a 23 per cent rise in incentive travel enquiries during 2010 for projects for that year, 2011 and 2012.

Enquiries came from many existing and potential new clients from sectors including pharmaceutical, electrical retailing and technology systems. Destinations requested or discussed with clients included Istanbul, Lapland, Marrakech, India, the USA and South America.

Nigel Cooper, executive director of P&MM’s Events & Communications division commented:  “After two challenging years, we noticed a marked year on year growth in enquiries for incentive travel, the motivational reward most highly valued by staff in the UK.  Companies are definitely seeing the benefits of using this exceptional reward to drive top performers to deliver exceptional results.”

Cooper added: “Companies have recognised that they have to focus on their business and what works to increase their profits without being deterred by any primarily media driven hype focusing on the financial services sector. Well trained and highly motivated staff drive their businesses forward in any economic climate so why not offer them the most exciting self financing rewards available to maximise the return?”
