Infosys Technologies to send UK graduates to India for training

Indian software company Infosys Technologies is sending UK graduates to India to be trained.

Some 25 graduates, who have joined the company directly from university, will undertake six months’ training at the company’s Bangalore HQ before returning to the UK.

One of them, University of Bath IT graduate Rick Mellor, said: “I feel very lucky to be part of the first ever European group to participate in this training. Gaining real-life experience in India can only make you stronger and better equipped to compete in the global business environment.”

Infosys Technologies UK head office is at Canary Wharf. It is India’s second-largest software services supplier.
