The
internet is the most successful recruiting tool of all, according to a survey
of European firms by Pauffley Creative Communication.
The
European Recruiters’ Report 2002 surveyed 41 organisations across Europe. It
asked firms to rank their top three most successful recruitment marketing
approaches. In 49 per cent of cases, the internet was ranked in the most
successful category.
University
presentations were the second most popular approach. This is followed by
careers fairs, internships and recruitment directories. Newspaper advertising,
for so long a staple of the recruitment market, was not seen as the most
