by Personnel Today 19 Oct 2009

Kenexa, a global provider of business solutions for human resources, has strengthened its recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) expertise with the appointment of Jerry Collier as International RPO Development Director.

A senior executive with considerable experience in the RPO industry, Mr Collier joins from Alexander Mann Solutions where he spent ten years, latterly as Global Sales and Marketing Director and Investment Banking Director, responsible for practice operations in Europe, the US and Asia.

In his new role at Kenexa, he will develop new client relationships and create RPO solutions throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. Based in London, he will report to Phillip Stewart, Kenexa’s Global Practice Leader for RPO.

Earlier in his career, Mr Collier was Managing Director of international RPO provider Resource Solutions, part of the Robert Walters group. He also spent two years as Chief People Officer at Citria, an e-business consulting and systems integration specialist.

He started his career in the British Army, where he served for nine years, reaching the rank of Captain. He saw action in Croatia and Northern Ireland and he held staff appointments in Australia, Canada, Cyprus and Egypt.

Commenting on his appointment, he said: “Kenexa is not only one of the world’s leading providers of recruitment process outsourcing, it’s also a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders around the world, with a comprehensive suite of products and services that support the entire employee lifecycle. I’ve taken on a dynamic and exciting role that will involve helping our RPO clients to create a world-class talent function and achieve year-on-year cost savings.”

Kenexa has 1,400 employees and over 4,400 clients worldwide. It undertakes recruitment in 36 languages, across 30 global locations.
