Leadership development organisation, The Leadership Trust Foundation, has
been appointed as official leadership development provider to the British
Olympic Association, in a sponsorship agreement worth about £200,000 over two
years.
The British Olympic Association (BOA) manages the delivery of the best
British team to an Olympic Games, which involves working with leaders, coaches
and officials from 35 different sports.
All 25 BOA team leaders, plus the Association’s senior management team, will
take part in The Leadership Trust Foundation’s five-day leadership in
management programme over the next two years, in an effort to prepare for the
2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
In addition, specially designed ‘facilitation days’ will take place to
consolidate individual learning and to devise action plans to ensure learning
is successfully applied.
