A
‘lifestyle manager’ has been appointed by the Birmingham Metropole Hotel to
improve staff morale and make them feel more valued.
Georgina
Stanlake has the job of improving the physical and mental well-being of her
colleagues at the 803-bedroom hotel.
This
includes organising fitness classes, language lessons, chiropody and massage
and beauty sessions.
Stanlake
said the feedback from staff had been very positive and absenteeism had reduced
as a result.
