European
business graduates have chosen cosmetics company L’Oreal as their favourite
potential employer, according to a new survey.
More
than 5,000 business graduates from 100 European universities chose the French
company in a survey by Swedish higher education specialist, Universum.
The
graduates, 1,000 of whom came from the UK, chose consulting company McKinsey
and German car maker BMW – up 17 places from last year – as their next
favourite employers. McKinsey had held the top spot for nine years.
Boston
Consulting Group, Coca-Cola and Proctor and Gamble were also in the the top
five. The European Central Bank was the highest-ranked financial institution,
at number 11.

All
the students were completing undergraduate degrees.
