The
Learning and Skills Council (LSC) has added a further 51 institutions to its
Centre of Vocational Excellence programme.
The
latest list of new entrants includes 42 further education colleges and 10
work-based learning providers.
This
third round of entrants since the group’s inception in 2001 brings the total
number of providers to 205.
The
£104m, three-year initiative was launched to develop a nationally co-ordinated
network of learning centres.
