NatWest investment scheme creates 1,000 new jobs

High
street bank NatWest has announced it will be creating 1,000 new jobs as part of
its branch network investment programme.

The
bank, which is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland, said the jobs would be for
cashiers and customer service staff in branches across the country.

The
move is part of NatWest’s drive to improve customer service across it’s
branches and reduce waiting times.

It
will start recruiting the new staff immediately, and hopes to have them all in
place within three months, taking its total number of branch staff to 17,300.
