Nine in 10 HR outsourcing agreements now involve sending jobs to low-cost countries, according to an offshoring expert.

Independent consultant Guy Kirkwood, who has worked on some of the biggest offshoring contracts of the past few years, said the trend was soaring.

He told Personnel Today that one multinational deal was about to go through, which involved 450 HR roles being offshored.

“We will see even more HR offshoring next year,” Kirkwood predicted.
