The HR-related number plate ‘1 HR’ has featured in a new league table of personalised number plates published by NewReg.com – and is valued at a bank account-emptying £68,995 – twice the average salary of an HR manager.

But despite the hefty price tag, HR is firmly wedged in the slow lane compared with IT. The number plate ‘IT 1’ is valued at more than £100,000.
Other occupational plates include ‘DOC 7OR’ at £69,995, ‘PEN 510N’ at £14,995 and ‘TAX 15’ at £12,595.
