Obituary

Paul Nicholls, human resources partner of employment law specialist DLA Advance, died suddenly and unexpectedly last week.

Nicholls, who was in his mid-40s, had worked for the company since 1992 acting across a wide range of areas, including providing strategic, board-level personnel advice to restructuring companies.

During his career he was also an energetic supporter of Personnel Today, writing columns for the magazine, providing comment on employment law issues and leading DLA Advance’s sponsorship of the HR Manager category in the Personnel Today Awards.

He leaves a wife and two children.
