The
New Year could see embarrassed silences and red faces at offices around the
country after research revealed that nearly half of the UK’s workers manage to
steal a kiss from colleagues at the Christmas party.
The
poll, by recruitment website Monster, shows that 45 per cent of British staff
admitted kissing co-workers at the office party – the second highest number in
Europe.
Only
the Irish were more amorous when it comes to taking advantage of festive
opportunities under the metaphorical mistletoe at the traditional office bash.
A
further 20 per cent of Brits said they would try and kiss someone from work if
they thought they could get away with it.
