Tom Hampton is the new HR manager at boiler maker Baxi Potterton. He has
operational responsibility for the manufacturing and distribution sites in
Burnley and Preston, as well as the service centre based at Warwick. He
previously worked at robotics and automation company RTS.
Childrenswear retailer Adams has appointed Sue Mackness as HR director. She
will head a 16-strong team with responsibility for more than 4,000 staff. In
her new role, she will focus on managing recruitment and training to support
the firm’s expansion plans. She joins Adams from the Arcadia group, where she
was HR director for Top Shop, Top Man and Miss Selfridge.

Simon Kenny has joined commercial law firm Hill Dickinson to head up its new
executive immigration unit. The new department will obtain work permits and
visas for public sector organisations looking to recruit overseas staff. In his
new role, he will also offer a range of immigration services to companies and
individuals.
David Clements has joined foodservice company Apetito as head of HR. He
joins from BAA Gatwick, where he was head of HR operations.
