Nationwide Building Society has appointed John Wrighthouse as divisional director of personnel and development. He succeeds David Rigney, who has become group operations director.
John Nicholson has joined HM Prison Service as head of staff equality and diversity. He will be based at the head office in London and will report to the head of the personnel management group, covering 49,000 staff in 130 prisons.
