Shine Group has appointed Caroline Ross as its first group-wide HR director. Joining from News International, where she was HR director, Ross will be responsible for all HR activities across the Shine Group, which includes 25 companies across three continents. Her new role will encompass all aspects of HR, including employee relations and the attraction, retention and development of staff. She will report directly to Shine Group president Alex Mahon.

Gail Saxon has joined medical equipment manufacturer Owen Mumford as HR manager. Previously HR manager at Prodrive, she will lead the HR function at Owen Mumford. Saxon will join the senior management team, answering to the group finance director.
