One simple voucher gives optical care for all drivers

With so many occupations requiring people to drive in course of their work, Specsavers Corporate Eyecare has introduced a simple voucher scheme to help employers act responsibly.

It is understandable that employers want to make sure their staff have good enough eyesight to drive safely but many options are cost-prohibitive and can be time-consuming to implement.

Employers can now purchase Optical Care Vouchers from Specsavers and simply hand them out to the relevant employees.

The vouchers entitle the bearer to a sight test, eye examination and a pair of glasses if they need them. If the sight test shows that an employee does not need glasses, they can have non-prescription sunglasses instead.

The Optical Care Voucher from Specsavers costs just £35 and covers:



  • A full eye examination at any of over 670 Specsavers Opticians stores throughout the UK

  • A pair of glasses, including standard Ultra single vision lenses, from Specsavers’ £45 range or

  • A pair of non-prescription sunglasses from Specsavers’ £45 range

  • Employees can upgrade to glasses from a higher price range or have them with bifocal or varifocal lenses and pay the difference.

Because Specsavers’ Optical Care Vouchers are so easy to use, they reduce the time-consuming administration associated with organising sight tests, eye examinations and providing glasses.

Employers will no longer have to deal with multiple suppliers, all they have to do is purchase and distribute the vouchers.
