One-third of UK staff love socialising with colleagues outside work

A
third of Brits ‘love’ to spend time with workmates outside of the workplace,
according to a new poll.

The
survey, by recruitment website Monster, asked: ‘To what extent are you
interested in taking part in organised activities with your colleagues outside
work?’

UK
employees replied:

–
34 per cent: "Yes, I love to spend time with my colleagues during and
outside working hours"

–
27 per cent: "No, I’m not interested"

–
23 per cent: "Yes, only if the company funds the activity"

–
16 per cent: "No, I don’t have time – too busy with friends outside of
work"

In
comparison, when Monster asked Europeans, they replied:

–
35 per cent: "No, I’m not interested"

–
33 per cent: "Yes, I love to spend time with my colleagues during and
outside working hours"

–
16 per cent: "Yes, only if the company funds the activity"

–
16 per cent: "No, I don’t have time – too busy with friends outside of
work"
