Orange Business Services launches new employee benefit scheme

by Personnel Today 15 Aug 2008

Telecommunications provider Orange Business Services has launched their new voluntary benefits programme, ‘Orange Extras’, to over 900 of their employees across the UK and Ireland.

After an in-depth procurement process, Asperity Employee Benefits was appointed as the scheme provider, offering a wide range of discounts, offers and Cashback opportunities at over 1500 retailers, both online and on the high street.

Zena Buck, HR Executive for Orange Business Services, said:

“We chose Asperity’s Reward Gateway platform for its diverse set of discounts and offers, and their benchmarked gift voucher offer. We were also attracted by the ability to brand and customise the rewards website to suit Orange Business Services.

“In a highly competitive telecoms industry, it is important for us to provide a value-driven rewards package for our employees in order to recruit and retain the best talent.”

The scheme launched on 26th June and was followed up by a Reward Gateway ‘RoadShow’ to be held on-site for Orange Business Services staff, to encourage take-up.

The focus groups and demonstrations at the RoadShow were well-received and enjoyed a large turnout.

Tim Cross, Client Services representative for Asperity said:

“We received a great response from employees at the June Roadshow, and its success in engaging them in the programme is reflected in the 47% take-up from Orange Business Services staff in just 3 weeks since launching Orange Extras.”
