are advised to check their contracts of employment and pension scheme
documentation in the light of last week’s House of Lords ruling on part-time
workers and pensions.

Jonathan Chamberlain warns that some employers may inadvertently have made
pension scheme membership part of the employment contract. The results could be
costly.
This
issue, says Wragge, is "now more important than it ever has been in the
context of historical sex discrimination claims."
