The public have been urged to log on to the Department for Work and Pension’s website and have their say in the national pensions debate.
Minister for pensions, Stephen Timms, launched a new interactive section of the website where people can send the department their views on the key issues surrounding the debate.
“The future of pensions will affect us all in some way,” Timms said. “Ministers have already started taking the debate out to the country and more events are planned throughout the course of the year, but the website will help us reach those people who may not be able to attend those specific events.

He said the website was an invaluable tool in helping more people understand the issues.
