Personnel Today succeeded in putting HR issues on the national agenda in 2006 by generating media coverage worth nearly £1m.
We achieved 379 media mentions across national, regional, consumer and trade press, websites and newswires, reaching an audience of 51,326,858 people.
Our national media appearances had an advertising value equivalency of £968,243, according to media monitoring and evaluation service Durrants – more than four times as much as our nearest rival magazine.
These figures do not take into account our broadcast presence, which was considerable last year.
Personnel Today’s legal editor Dawn Spalding was interviewed extensively on radio stations across the UK for her expertise on the age discrimination legislation. She also presents the Employers’ Law show on Legal TV (Sky channel 215).

“This is proof that HR and people issues are increasingly taking centre stage in business. In 2007, we will continue to cover the issues that really matter.”
