Pinewood Studios is set to create about 1,000 new jobs for workers in the creative industry by 2022, if plans for site expansion in the Buckinghamshire area be approved by South Bucks District Council.
The UK film studios, which provide facilities for national and international films, submitted its ‘Project Pinewood’ plans to the council earlier this week.

According to the studios, Project Pinewood will offer directors and production designers a range of streetscapes reproducing the architectural style and atmosphere of the original locations abroad.
In the past, blockbusters such as Casino Royale and The Bourne Ultimatum have been filmed at Pinewood Studios.
