unions representing professional and managerial staff are merging today to form
a new body with more than 100,000 members.
The
Engineers’ and Managers’ Association and the Institution of Professionals,
Managers and Specialists will become Prospect.

will be jointly led by the general secretaries of the two former unions, Paul
Noon and Tony Cooper.
