Public
sector employees enjoy the most holiday leave, according to a survey undertaken
by David Chorley International.
Over
70 per cent of public sector employers give a minimum of 25 days annual leave
compared with 41 per cent in the private commercial centre and 12.5 per cent in
the professional services sector.
The
public sector also came out well in the benefits offered to employees.
Childcare was offered by only three per cent of the companies surveyed – and
almost all of these were public sector employers.
