The forum’s occupational health representatives will now be Helen Kirk, Beverley Griggs and Mairi Gaffney. Kirk is managing director of HK Consulting and one of the Department of Health’s six regional health, work and wellbeing champions for the NHS. Gaffney is head of the Scottish OH service Healthy Working Lives, and Griggs is occupational health manager at States of Guernsey.
Gaffney told OH that Atwell will be a hard act to follow on the forum. “Her networking ability, her contacts and her teaching expertise, along with the depth of her knowledge, will be extremely difficult to replicate.”
