The
quarterly Recruitment Confidence Index (RCI) shows an expected rise in
recruitment activity over the next six months.
The
survey of nearly 13,000 HR professionals by Cranfield School of Management and
the Daily Telegraph, in association with Personnel Today, shows that the RCI
stands at 134 for all staff, and 128 for managerial/professional staff. This
means the number of respondents expecting recruitment activity to rise will
increase on the previous quarter, when the figure stood at 126 for all staff
and 119 for managerial/professional staff.
The
findings also show that a third (33 per cent) of organisations expect no change
in recruitment activity for all staff, while more than half (56 per cent) are
expecting no change in recruitment activity for managerial/professional staff.
