Royal Mail is running a health and safety training roadshow across the UK for thousands of its staff.
A 13-metre-long vehicle will visit 34 Royal Mail depots in the next three months, offering a mixture of live demonstrations, videos and interactive discussions. There will be a video booth to record employees’ feedback.
Ninian Wilson, Royal Mail’s operations director, said: “Royal Mail recognises the importance of ensuring and improving the health and wellbeing of its people.
“Improving our safety record is the number one priority within Royal Mail, and the training truck will be a helpful part of a large programme aiding us to deliver this.”
A follow-up road show is planned for the end of the year.
