Almost 90 per cent of employers use some sort of selection testing, a new
survey shows.
An IRS survey of 111 employers shows that testing is in widespread use.
The type of tests vary according to job description. Literacy and numeracy
tests are the most common assessments, with more than 93.4 per cent of
employers using them at some time.
Ninety-one per cent of companies use personality tests, at least on an
occasional basis, to determine more qualitative, softer, insights into
candidates. Â www.irsemploymentreview.com
