A Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service (SEQOHS) accreditation programme specifically for providers working within the construction sector is being developed by the Faculty for Occupational Medicine and Constructing Better Health (CBH), the faculty has said.
The aim is to have a system whereby providers can be accredited against construction-specific evidence requirements, the faculty added.

“By working together with CBH, SEQOHS believes that both construction employers and OH providers will benefit from this change,” it said.
The move complements a pilot scheme being run by the faculty and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics which aims to develop an accreditation programme that will work for occupational physiotherapy service providers.
