Serac UK has been crowned the UK’s Training Provider of the Year for the manufacturing industry at the national Proskills Awards 2010.
The Proskills Awards, now in their fourth year, recognise the hard work and commitment made by the process and manufacturing sector in training their workforce.
Serac UK was selected by the judges as the overall winner of Training Provider of the Year for a number of achievements including its contribution at a national level in the review of sector qualifications as part of the introduction of Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF), and for its innovative approach to delivering training and assessment.
The Training Provider of the Year award, one of four new categories included in this year’s awards, acknowledges and rewards training providers for their efforts in working with employers and learners in training and up skilling the workforce. Serac UK provides training to manufacturing companies nationwide including Aggregate Industries, WRG and May Gurney. Serac UK also sponsors the Effective Training Group, a cross-sector group of employers that promotes best practice in training and assessment.
