The Security Service (MI5) has gone online to answer questions about the
organisation’s training and employment prospects.
The service recruits more than 60 graduates a year, and has used Graduate Prospects’
live online chatroom, Careers Chat Live, to discuss recruitment, training and
careers in the service.
The service has a variety of graduate positions to fill, including posts as
generalists starting their careers as investigative desk officers, and posts
for those wishing to use their language skills.
A secret service recruitment manager said: "This is an exciting
opportunity for us, and one which we are looking forward to.
"Career opportunities in the Security Service are varied and fulfilling,
and we hope to be able to convey some of that enthusiasm for our work to
prospective candidates."
