BT is offering employees with Internet access the chance
to buy used cars at 10 per cent less than forecourt prices from an on-line car
benefits company eDefined.
BT’s HR department has also created employee advocates –
individuals from its workforce – to promote its benefits package.
"By delivering the highest levels of service, we can
ensure that we help improve the staff retention levels of companies that join
our on-line community," said Nick Chambers, business development director
of eDefined.com.
EDefined.com’s vehicles are sourced from fleet operators,
daily rental companies and leasing companies. The cars will come with a
12-month warranty package, a two day "no quibble" return policy and
the option to take out an on-line insurance policy.
